- Key Responsibilities
As a Workday Industry Lead, you should expect to source, cultivate, and be ultimately responsible for success of industry specific Workday pursuits through both sales and implementation having following responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners
- Work from start to finish on industry specific technology transformation pursuits with the ability to step in at any stage of the sales or project lifecycle.
- Leverage industry expertise to develop and support cost effective blueprints, estimates, and conceptual designs.
- Be recognized internally and externally for their deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise.
- Align technology with business strategy and goals, work directly with the client gathering requirements to analyse, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes.
- Serve as a practice thought leader related to digital industry transformation and the digital employee experience
- Advise clients in their industry technology decisions and strategies
- Solution and deliver integrated offerings that enable a client’s digital employee experience through Workday
- Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies.
- Support the management of financial, contractual, and operational commitments.
- Lead teams of consultants and clients to reach their implementation and transformation goals on time and within budget
- Your skills and Qualifications:
- Current industry specific knowledge of the Workday platform
- Proven experience with the Delivery and Sales of at least 2 major Workday Implementations
- Previous consulting and services sales experience or congruent professional experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with pre-sale and sales activities
