Description:
Samford Valley Steiner School seeks to engage a Wellbeing Officer on a permanent part time basis commencing in January 2023, 0.6FTE.
The role encompasses many areas of school life and many dimensions of wellbeing: social, emotional, educational and spiritual. The overarching goal is to support students and staff, and parents in the form of counselling support, education and referrals within the school and to community services.
The Wellbeing Officer’s role at SVSS is mainly based in the High School and Middle School (upper primary) however is available to staff and Primary School students if requested by the Primary School Director, School Director or teachers.
Applicants will need to demonstrate a genuine interest in Steiner education and a strong commitment to supporting and promoting Samford Valley Steiner School’s ethos.
