The Branch
Small Business Victoria supports the Minister for Small Business with well researched, relevant and timely information and advice to underpin key government decision making. The branch delivers policies and services that lead to prosperous, growing and exporting small businesses that enable job creation, including self-employment. Demand for Small Business Victoria services comes from small business (generally 1-19 staff), Victorians facing barriers or disadvantage and business stakeholders needing a fair operating environment, management capabilities and access to accurate, contemporary digital information.The Role
As a Copywriter in Small Business Victoria, you'll be part of an energetic, agile Digital Services team focused on engaging with Victoria's small businesses through the Business Victoria digital channels and innovative tools.
Digital Services provides specialist advice on content and capability uplift resources to optimise the user experience for Victorian businesses to succeed.
Reporting to the Digital Content Producer, this position will be responsible for writing, reorganising, and repurposing content for the new Business Victoria channels adhering to style guides. You'll be accountable for the preparation of content, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with best practice standards including Whole of Victorian Government digital and information management standards.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a collaborative team member of Small Business Victoria and with stakeholders within and external to the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.
