Warehouse Supervisor

Due to ongoing growth, our client now has opportunities for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their Homebush site. You will have overall responsibility for overseeing the operation in the warehouse, as well as leading your team and driving improvements.

It all started with the distribution of a small range of fresh produce and a few grocery items to introduce different grocery brands to consumers.   • Ensure smooth running of warehouse operations in a safe and efficient manner
  • Training, mentoring and development of staff members through high engagement, support and communication.
  • Supervising a team of 50-60 team members
  • Working with receiving, dispatch, and pre-pack departments
  • Manage rostering and staff to wage budget
  • Coordinating freight to budgets set
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Compliance with laws and regulatory requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally exposure to Fresh Produce or Food industry.
  • Experience in operations, warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Innovative and forward-thinking leader who drives an engaging high-performance culture
  • Strong self-motivation, drive & initiative
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Good IT skills, confident in using MS Office
