Our client is a leading Australian company providing premium flooring and noise control solutions. They are looking for a Warehouse Assistant who will be responsible to support the smooth functioning and operations of the warehouse.

Your new role

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse.

• Pick packing, loading & unloading, dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with the warehouse procedures and OHS requirements.
• Perform cutting of carpet with the cutting machines.
• Ensure timely deliveries and dispatch of goods, and make sure the ERP system are in accordance.
• Ensure the plant and machineries are in working order.
• Stock take
• Occasional delivery of material to site, if required.

What you'll need to succeed

• A valid forklift license
• Construction, flooring, carpet or vinyl industry experience would be an advantage.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job.
• Attention to detail
• OHS knowledge
