Monacellars are a medium-sized liquor wholesaling and retailing business based in Gippsland. We are proudly 100% locally owned and operated, employing over 50 Gippslanders across our operations.

We have a large warehouse and distribution centre in Morwell and a large fleet of trucks who service more than 700 liquor and coffee customers across Gippsland and greater Victoria. We also have 4 liquor stores across Gippsland.

Warehouse Shift Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join our close-knit warehouse team based in Morwell on a full-time basis.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the dispatching and receiving of stock
• Managing and mentoring staff (in an approachable way) ensuring all are proactive in their roles
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the yard
• Adhering to OHS policies and procedures, and ensuring the team do the same
• Time management of our fleet to ensure our customers always have an excellent service experience
• Contributing to the efficiency & improvement of warehouse operations
• Evolving, growing, and developing with the business

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent Work Ethic
• Ability to manage, lead and mentor staff
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment and understand the pick/pack operation
• Knowledge of route and linehaul work in Victoria, predominately Gippsland, is highly desirable
• Current forklift licence
