Our team here at Holt Executive has partnered with a Global Satellite Connectivity Organisation in their search for skilled a Warehouse Operative to join their busy team in Auburn, New South Wales, Australia.
Our client is a market leader in providing voice and high-speed data communications to a number of critical industries. With massive recent investment in their latest network infrastructure, they are at the forefront of space and satellite innovation.
As warehouse duties will require access to restricted products, applicants are required to hold Australian citizenship and to participate in government security screening should a security clearance be required for this role in future.
Key Responsibilities For The Warehouse Operative

• Careful and accurate completion of warehouse and site operations tasks;
• Compliance with business policies, procedures and all Work, Health and Safety directives;
• Receipt of deliveries to the Auburn facility, inspection and unpacking of received goods;
• Recording received material into appropriate computer stock control and ticketing applications;
• Movement of goods and materials within the warehouse using pallet jack or forklift;
• Manual handling of goods and equipment weighing up to 32Kg;
• Picking and packing of goods and materials for shipment either locally or internationally based on instructions provided;
• Preparation of consignment documentation for outgoing shipments;
• Facilitating collection of outgoing shipments by couriers or staff.

Essential Knowledge and Skills required by the Warehouse Operative:

• Have completed HSC, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience;
• Hold, or commit to obtaining and maintaining a NSW Driver’s License;
• Hold, or commit to obtaining and maintaining a Forklift Operator License;
• Training will be appropriate to the tasks you carry out but will include: warehouse operations, facility operations, working at heights, electromagnetic radiation safety, electrical safety awareness and manual handling.
