A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated person with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful applicant(s) will be expected to be able to oversee and coordinate the day to day and long term activities of Wardspersons and portering services.
The Wardspersons Supervisor is responsible for this oversight and the provision of quality service which includes the cleanliness and maintenance of the ward physical environment and equipment. The role works as a multi-skilled member of St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Ltd. (SVHS) to provide non-clinical support to clinical and frontline staff throughout the campus to complement the delivery of safe, effective and quality patient care.
This includes; supervision, delegation of duties related to transportation of patients, couriering of items, episodic cleaning, restocking and assembling of equipment set ups. Supervisors play an active leadership role
