We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Voice Communications Technician to play a vital role in our business to support, manage, develop, and enhance our ICT and Managed Services and Solutions.

Installation and support of traditional on-premises & cloud-based communications services.

Deliver projects as per scope and within budget, SLA’s and milestones including but not limited to onboarding new customers, obtaining technical requirements from customers, configuring, provisioning, testing VoIP & voice services, routers, switches.

Remote and Field Support to existing clients’ communications networks including end-user training.

Provide support services via Freshdesk Ticketing system (phone, remote support, e-mails and onsite).

Implement and maintain service ticket and network documentation in line with company guidelines and workflows.

Liaise and escalate faults with vendors, upstream providers and ISPs.

Work closely with other members in the Technical Services Team.

Excellent troubleshooting & fault analysis, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and handle pressure situations.

Highly motivated and organised with a ‘Can-do’ attitude and attention to detail to meet individual and team deadlines and milestones.

Sound knowledge of relevant SIP/VoIP, PABX, Unified Communications, voice related server technologies and tools or strong capacity to develop this knowledge.

Familiar with traditional Phone Systems like Avaya IP Office and/or Cloud-based UC solutions including 8×8 and MS Teams

Knowledge of Data Networking including LAN, WAN, routers/firewalls, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs.

Strong focus on customer service.

Excellent communications skills and a consultative approach.

Total package will depend on individual skills and experience and will incorporate all legislative requirements.
