Your new role

We’re looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference—for our customers, for each other, and for CSC.

As a self-motivated Video and Motion Graphics Designer you will create engaging digital content and guidelines within a highly collaborative team of graphic design, website publishing and communications experts.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop & Premiere Pro.

You will design and create visually compelling, original motion graphics and animation, plus have a strong background in editing highly engaging content. With your highly developed skills to interpret established brand and style guidelines, you will drive the conception and creation of templates, guidelines and digital assets in this 3-month full time contracting opportunity.

Please note, CSC supports a flexible approach and for this opportunity we can consider remote workers Australia-wide.

Key deliverables in this engagement include:

• Create strategy, guidelines and templates for video use within CSC for internal and external use.
  This includes developing a suite of assets for motion graphics.
• Editing of all content, including the addition of graphics, subtitles, supers and sound.
• Creation of high quality and visually engaging 2D animations, particularly for social media.
• Work with relevant business areas to story board and advise on engaging digital content.
• Training/upskilling existing team members in video production.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you’ll need to excel

• Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop & Premiere Pro
• Strong ability to create compelling and original motion graphics and animation.
  NB: Please have examples of short show real /motion graphics to share at interview.
• Strong background in editing highly engaging content that includes graphics, supers and animation.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills (including executive)
• Ability to drive results and produce engaging and succinct guidelines, training material, assets.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications such as visual design, media/graphic, video production (desirable)
• Basic video camera skills or edit video content (desirable)
• Understanding of video creation for the current state of Social Media (desirable)
