The Opportunity
As IDEXX continue to invest in innovative and market leading diagnostics and technology that increases the standard of care to the veterinary market, we have a new opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Account Manager AKA Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant with a strong knowledge of the animal health, pharmaceutical or diagnostic industries, to join our growing team. This addition to the team will be looking after areas with large potential, talking to internal departments, sales, account management and manage relationships while identifying areas for new customers, new business development & growth – while managing Veterinary Clinics across the Gold Coast, Brisbane South and surrounds, as well as a regional territory of Cairns where you will be required to travel to each quarter.
You, as the successful candidate, will have:
A proven sales track record with a minimum of 3 years, overseeing existing and looking out for new customers.
A demonstrated record of providing exceptional customer service and responsiveness.
Outstanding organizational, Account management and territory management skills.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to understand and share technical information.
Superior relationship building capability to create long term business opportunities and customer loyalty.
Experience selling diagnostic equipment and/or laboratory products and services is highly regarded.
A medical background with medical terminology know-how, preferred.
The ability to carry a medical discussion, as well as a business discussion.
A desire to make a difference to animal health, while being quick on your feet.
