Vessel Operations Engineer

DRD are currently looking for a highly experienced Vessel Operations Engineer to work for a leading Oil and Gas company in West Perth.

About The Role
 

• Perth based role Monday - Friday, some weekends required.
• Must be able to travel Internationally and offshore as needed.
• Opportunity to work on Oil and gas projects
   

Responsibilities:
 

• Responsible for preparing a offshore construction Vessel for a Perth Based Oil and Gas Project.
• Reporting to the operations manager and operations engineer.
• Preparing purchase orders, technical bid evaluations and management of vendors as required.
• Expectation to take part in the project through all offshore campaigns.
   

Requirements:
 

• Extensive experience in offshore/ subsea projects in Australia and Asia
• Experience in fabrication, vessel mobilization, loadouts and management of personnel
• Must be flexible and collaborate effectively with a team.
