6 month non-ongoing contract with a view to permanency - start your career in the APS
This is a central Government Department that managing key aspects pertaining to the overall running of the APS, they also have a key focus on developing polices and legislation to ensure that continuity of the APS.
This is a rare opportunity for individuals who have a key interest in finance where you will work in the Travel and Credit Card section of the CFO division, duties of this role will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following;
To be successful in this role you must have a key interest in commencing a career within Finance for the APS, you must be proficient in the use of IT and programs and be willing to learn finance programs specific to the Department.
Previous working in the APS within a Finance Team is highly Desired - this role is only open to Australian Citizens and you must be willing to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
Candidates who are permanently employed within the APS and are seeking a permanent or temporary transfer (Section26) are also encouraged to apply.
You will receive an initial 6 month non-ongoing contract with the view to extension or permanency, you will also receive the opportunity to work in an expert team and develop your professional profile within Finance.
