Description:
Reporting to the General Manager, and working closely with the National Operations team you will be responsible to support the business through business growth with implementation of marketing projects, initiatives, and management of marketing and events activities.
Key Duties:
- Influence the development of financial growth strategies for all segments, through authentic customer engagement activities to gain and retain new business.
- Overall responsibility for the development of the EXTRA FREIGHT SERVICES brand awareness and sales leads generation nationally.
- Development and implementation of the annual regional and project marketing plans.
- Assist in developing and reporting the marketing departments budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with key industry association to exploit opportunities in increasing business. Feeding these opportunities to the sales team.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify key trends, target audiences, and competitive positioning.
- Monitor marketing campaign performance, track key metrics, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing incentives.
- Provide regular updates to the General Manager and Directors on marketing activities, achievements and challenges.
- Working with partners to develop business development, marketing plans and initiatives.
- Managing relationships with sponsors and partnerships.
- Working closely with the communications team to assist with website content, advertising, etc.
- Managing the implementation of business development campaigns.
- Preparing submissions.
- Managing networking events and seminars.
- Reporting on marketing plans and budgets.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (ie. Bachelor's in Marketing or Communications) is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of global experience in marketing, communications, or public relations roles.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- An enthusiastic self starter who is a proactive, independent worker with great time management skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
- Previous experience within client services, business development.
