Our Finance Department are on the lookout for the right person to join their team as a Finance Administration Trainee. Reporting to the Group Manager Financial Services, the Trainee Finance Administration will effectively undertake duties assigned within the Financial Services Team and assist in meeting the various targets/milestones as required to meet financial reporting deadlines.

To be successful in these positions you will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, willingness to learn and the commitment to complete a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Accounts Administration). You will also have a strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding of Council’s organisational values of Passion, Integrity, Innovation, Communication, Respect and Collaboration.

  • Undertake and complete a Certificate III in Accounts Administration at TAFE
  • Assist wit the accurate and timely processing of Council’s Accounts Payable accounts
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable functions
  • Assist with Rates and Water Billing functions
