THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be fully trained so you can support a portfolio of injured workers and employers who need your ongoing care and assistance to help them throughout their return to work journey.

We have multiple Trainee Case Manager positions available in our Melbourne office. Successful candidates will join one of our well-established teams here at EML and we will provide a comprehensive paid training program which will run for a minimum of 4 weeks. During this program you will learn all aspects of the Workers Compensation business to become a successful Case Manager.

This will be a permanent, full time position commencing Monday 6 th September 2021 based in our Melbourne CBD office.

About You

  • You pride yourself on giving world class customer service, building a rapport and collaborative relationships with each customer
  • Proactive, self-motivated and can think creatively when engaging with stakeholders
  • Enjoy helping customers through empathy to deliver positive outcomes
  • Passion for resolving conflicts and can handle challenging conversations
  • Have an allied health degree or an extensive customer service background

THE ROLE

  • You will gradually take responsibility of a full portfolio of workers compensation claims
  • Contact injured workers regularly to check in and educate about next steps and requirements
  • Work together and maintain relationships with injured workers, their employers and several external stakeholders to help the injured worker back to work as quickly and safely as possible
  • Access support from subject matter experts aligned to your team to develop and implement a plan to assist the injured workers’ return to work journey

You may be required to have certain inoculations such as flu vaccination and q-fever due to government requirements.
