Leading OEM company is seeking a trade assistant for their busy workshop. My client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trade Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will assist in the warehouse so the main aspect of this role is data entry - therefore logistics/warehouse/stores experience is crucial, as well as operating a forklift.

Responsibilities
 

• Data entry - use of excel
• Assisting in the warehouse - stores experience is required
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
   

Requirements:
 

• Must have data entry experience
• Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test
• Ability to produce a national police clearance
• Experience as in a similar role
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work both days and afternoon shifts
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials
• Must have a VALID C class license
• Valid forklift ticket
