We are currently seeking two Test Managers for our Train level validation activities for our busy Sydney Metro (City and Southwest) Project. These roles will work closely with the Train Validation Engineer and will act as the project owners for a comprehensive range of Integration/Tuning and Certification/Validation tests for our autonomous trains to run across the Sydney Metro network.

Key Responsibilities include:
Representing the Train Validation Manager, on board the train, during validations and certification tests.

Act as the entry point for all requests of activities for train testing and activities.

Ensuring the tests equipment and instrumentation are always operational and available.

Build strong relationships and communications with the Railway Test Centre and Public Infrastructure.

Preparing the test implementation, including staffing, availability of tools and calibrated measurement devices.

Checking that train subsystems are compliant to the last applicable configuration.

Operationally coordinating all the testing teams and laboratories on board.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required include:
Qualification in Electrical or Systems Engineering (or equivalent engineering degree).

Extensive experience in Testing or Certification/Validation.

Desired to have technical experience in rolling stock, system integration, validation, testing and commissioning.

Skills in building internal and external networks within project management.

Structured approach to their daily work and ability to prioritise decisions.
