About The Role

It's an exciting time to join the Ag industry! Our client, a leading agricultural machinery manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to drive growth and maximise market share across key regions within South Australia.

As Territory Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing strong relationships with our client's dealer network. Your focus will be on increasing sales, optimising inventory management, and driving retail performance through dedicated programs and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with dealers to identify opportunities, address challenges, and ensure a professional brand image in the market.

This is a field-based role offering flexibility to work from a location of your choice within South Australia, with a preference for Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve territory targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals and sales teams.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits to assess performance, identify opportunities, and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with dealers on marketing and sales initiatives to drive retail sales.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimise inventory levels.
  • Provide training and support to dealer sales staff on products and sales techniques.
  • Represent the company at industry events, field days, and product demonstrations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship between the dealer network and the brands.

     

Ideally, You Will Have:
 

  • Proven success in sales and/or sales management, with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Experience in a business-to-business and/or dealer network environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for the agricultural industry and a strong understanding of the market.
