Our Arrotex Pharma team is growing and as a result, we are looking for experienced territory managers who consider themselves strong contract negotiators to join our team. This role is responsible for executing the pharmaceutical sales and marketing strategy across their designated territory. We are looking for strong sales individuals to hit the ground running and make a strong impact on their customers. This individual is accountable for the retention and acquisition of pharmacy businesses in their territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales growth through execution of Arrotex Pharmaceuticals strategy.
- Educate, train, and support pharmacies to drive substitution and loyalty growth.
- Drive rapid uptake of new product launches and promotions.
- Report and provide information to key decision-makers regarding the ongoing performance of the pharmacy, to support business planning and goal tracking.
- Register, review & approve rebates attributed to each pharmacy based on performance measures.
- Register & review bonus stock according to performance and contractual agreements.
- Identify opportunities for retail pharmacies to adopt/integrate/implement programs offered by Arrotex.
- Support the pharmacy to drive engagement with the program through training, target setting and performance reporting.
- Identify and acquire new pharmacies in the territory as well as retain contracted customers and proactively resign accounts coming up to contract expiry
Key Requirements
- Experience in a similar account management/customer-facing role where negotiating and sales are regularly used as part of your responsibilities.
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Science is desirable.
- Strong contract negotiation skills are preferred.
- A high level of emotional intelligence and people skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed administrative and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise a variety of tasks and competing demands.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to create innovative workable solutions; proactive anticipation of needs, with the ability to foresee challenges and problems, and take action to prevent them.
- Proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach to all aspects of the role.
- Thorough understanding of Community Pharmacy.
- Understanding of the prescription medicine landscape with a focus on the PBS landscape
