The role

As the Area Sales Manager you will be given the territory portfolio for Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, with the task of hunting within the client accounts to increase product usage amongst the excavator dealerships, their reps and the end users, as well as hunting for new dealers to sign on.

While this is predominantly a hunting role, your success will stem from your ability to create and foster strong relationships with external stake holders, as well as effectively presenting the product benefits and having a strong ability to close deals.
 

  • Hunting: New excavator dealers, expansion of client accounts, reps within client accounts, end users, rental companies.
  • Relationships: Build out firm and genuine relationships with the clients and reps
  • Face to face visits with external stakeholders for regular business health checks - Identifying and optimising upsell opportunities
  • Convert internal sales phone calls, scheduled meetings and quotes.
  • CRM pipeline management, recording and managing all relevant data from sales interactions - supported by Sales Admin
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing product support and resolving queries
