About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Technology Delivery Program (TDP) Director and working closely with WSA's Procurement team, this role is accountable for managing the sourcing of TDP technology solutions, developing contract/agreements and the associated ongoing management of vendor performance.

The Technology Commercial Manager is responsible for driving the sourcing and supplier management for WSA's Technology contracts and is accountable for ensuring that vendor performance under contract is delivering value for money for WSA.

The Technology Commercial Manager, working with the WSA Procurement team:

Manages technology contracts throughout the contract lifecycle and ensures adherence to WSA Procurement processes;

Support WSA Procurement to drive the sourcing activities for TDP packages tender evaluations, contract negotiations and contract governance;

Support WSA Procurement to drive the sourcing activities for the establishment of operating and maintenance support agreements for the TDP systems, negotiating optimum commercial outcomes and service contracts;

Strong engagement with WSA Procurement to manage the end-to-end Technology contract management lifecycle;

Engages and collaborates with WSA teams, including providing advisory support in the development of business cases, developing sourcing strategies, tender evaluation plans and service level agreements;

Develops partnerships and ongoing relationships with external vendors and TDP project teams to resolve contract difficulties;

Monitors contract performance, including notifying the vendor of any performance related matters, leads discussions and / or negotiations with the vendor on service credits, supports periodic and value for money assessments; and

Provide insights on the supply market, spend, performance, opportunities & risks to support informed decision making.
