About The Role

Mining Area C is passionate about diversity in experience, we have strong focus on high performance, indigenous participation and gender balance.

We are currently seeking an Auto Electrical Technician to join our field maintenance team at Mining Area C. The successful individual will report to the Field Maintenance Breakdown Supervisor, and using technical expertise will be required to execute maintenance work across a varied range of equipment.

Partnering with experienced technicians, you will be encouraged to grow your breadth of experience with full support. You will also contribute to continuous improvement projects in order to maximise productivity and safety outcomes.

Some Of Your Responsibilities May Include

• Auto Electrical maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, which may include – P65’s, Viper 271’s, Liebherr 9400 and 996
• Aptitude and willingness to perform mechanical work as required
• Following specific maintenance programs and carrying out inspections on field equipment as required
• Scoping and creating 1SAP notifications for preventative work
• Assisting in implementation of 5S, Safety improvement projects and standardized work
• Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with rescheduling of work, organising and coordinating resources, scoping of work and determining priorities
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in the implementing of the new initiatives in a constructive way

About You

• Mandatory: Auto Electrical Trade Qualification with diagnostic and fault finding experience
• Mandatory: Valid Australian C class drivers licence
• Desirable: Valid Air Conditioning License

Experiences, Skills And Knowledge Desirable

• Experience in maintaining Leibherr ,Epiroc and Caterpillar Earthmoving Equipment
• Experience in maintaining Automotive Air-Conditioning Systems
• Capability in 1SAP Work Management Systems
