Description:
Role Overview: As the Technical Trainer, your primary responsibility will be to support the continuous development of skills within the Network 'Total Workforce' by delivering training courses/programs and conducting competency-based assessments. Your role will ensure compliance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and established competency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions and maintain records to fulfill the training delivery program and schedule.
- Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with customers, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring the achievement of key objectives.
- Execute assigned work plans within agreed timelines and deliverables.
- Provide mentorship to trainees, facilitating on-the-job training, workplace learning, and formal leadership experiences.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems (Distribution Cable Jointing and/or Distribution Overhead) dated 2006 or newer.
- Possess an unrestricted WA electrical license.
- Demonstrate 7+ years of relevant industry experience in the Electricity Supply Industry or related sectors.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, fostering effective interaction with stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and achieve predetermined deliverables within established timelines.
- Flexibility to work and travel to various depot locations as needed.
- Hold a valid WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'C-A', or have the capability to transfer an equivalent interstate license.
