Technical Solutions Executive

 

Description:


The Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE) will partner with our Mid-Market Accounts Sales Executive to improve incremental annual recurring revenue (ARR), translating challenges to technical solutions delivering desired outcomes. You will use in-depth industry and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues and suggest improvements, thus earning status as a trusted advisor to the customer. You will partner with authorised partners teams to provide pre-sales technical assistance.

This role is based in Australia, and we operate on a hybrid work arrangement, and you will report to the Technical Sales Manager (AEC).

Responsibilities
 

  • You will become an expert in spreading the Value message and will assist customers to make the best decisions on the Autodesk solution to meet their needs
  • You will report to the Technical Sales Manager, and the Technical Sales Teams & communicate and connect customer business objectives with Autodesk Technology Offerings to Deliver Value Messaging
  • You will facilitate discovery workshops of varying sizes with our customers to help uncover business issues/drivers/initiatives and uses this information to connect Autodesk solutions to business outcome value
  • You will communicate product/workflow features and benefits in pre-sales situations. Present Autodesk products to prospective customers in the form of presentations. Presentations may be live, or via Web-delivery mechanisms. Also provide customer consultation, support and product presentations at industry-specific trade shows
  • You will ensure that datasets and related scripts are prepared correctly according to local region requirements
  • You will work with our Autodesk Authorised Partners and provide customer-facing presentations in the form of dealer seminars, and workshops. Ensure our partners are proficient in Autodesk software tools and grow their presentation abilities
  • You will support local user group meetings. You will become proactive in local, state and national industry-related user groups. Interaction should include presentations, panel discussions and product demonstrations. You will help educate the user groups to publicise the Autodesk message
  • You will work and Collaborate with our teams to help further communicate requirements for the local region
  • You will collaborate with a broader team of TSE/SE/TSS members from across the APAC region
     

Minimum Qualifications
 

  • A Degree in Engineering from a reputed institute
  • 7-10 years of Experience in the AEC Industry
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Solutions for design like Revit, Civil3D and Autodesk construction cloud
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Architecture Engineering & Construction (AEC) product portfolio
  • Advanced knowledge of BIM and Industry workflows
  • Prior experience in customer-facing presales/Technical Sales Specialist roles would be an added advantage
