Description:
ECU’s Cyber Security Research Institute is one of ECU’s most exciting and innovative research groups, conducting research to deliver immediate and high impact outcomes in the areas of secure systems, critical infrastructure security, and cyber enabled crime.
We are looking for technically minded person with experience in designing, developing and managing network and software infrastructures to deliver technical support to the Institute’s researchers and clients. The ideal candidate will be great at problem solving and is happy to troubleshoot and work with a variety of subject matter experts to and provide solutions and support for our research. You will also be responsible for installation and maintenance of specialist software and hardware used in the context of cybersecurity.
A relevant degree in computer Science or similar, or a combination of training and experience to a similar level.
Some knowledge of Cyber Security, familiarity with Operational Technology and IoT is desirable.
Technical experience with a variety of platforms including computer networks, linux and opensource development stacks
Good communication skills and the ability to work with researchers and to diagnose and assist with technical issues.
