About the role:

Good experience in analytics with 12+ years of experience in data extraction, processing, analysis and visualization skills in preparing reports using Power BI, SSRS and Spotfire software.

Excellent communication skills with mining domain insights to understand client’s objectives, business drivers and devise an approach to the solution.

Must have knowledge and exposure on agile / scrum framework, and good to have working experience as Scrum Master.

Actively mentor team members on areas of expertise. Understand client’s objectives, business drivers and devise an approach to the solution. Able to apply this competency in highly complex, dynamic and challenging situations and contexts. Has deep knowledge and experience of this competency and is recognized as having specialist expertise within the Business Unit or Product Group.

Skill Set and Knowledge Required:

• Proficient at data visualization using Power BI, SSRS and Spotfire technologies and a strong application development expertise.
• Expert in creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Table, Matrix, Pies, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc
• Expertise in creating efficient Data Model in Power BI
• Trouble shooting of performance issues which is associated with Power BI reports.
• Maintaining and supporting operational reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Microsoft Power BI
• Good experience in creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations graphs.
• Expert knowledge using advanced calculations using MS Power BI Desktop (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table)
• Migrating Excel / SSRS reports to Power BI and Spotfire
• Optimize SQL Server queries to efficiently and quickly retrieve data
• Resolve IT and data issues of SQL Server
• Good experience on writing DAX in MS Power BI Desktop.
• Expert in publishing reports to app.powerbi.com and setting up the necessary connection details, access permissions and scheduling.
• Creating and maintaining reporting process using SSRS.
• Experience with the BI tools Tibco Spotfire Professional, Web player, Tableau and Business Objects.
• Experience in creating Complex Spotfire Dashboards or Reports Using Tibco Spotfire Professional.
• Experience using in developing cross table, Bar chart, Tree map and complex reports which involves Property Controls, Custom Expressions.
• Knowledge in Relational and Dimensional Modeling.
• Converted multiple reports from Excel, Tableau and BO to Spotfire.
• Expertise in creating calculated columns and custom expressions to manipulate data loaded in Spotfire
• Experience in custom Python modules into Spotfire server to utilize Python Library in full for custom functionalities.
• Trouble shooting of performance issues which is associated with Spotfire reports.
• Good experience in creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations graphs.
