Technical Director to join an Aus-wide team to help manage and deliver Environmental Planning and Approvals projects in VIC for a consultancy with a 40 year legacy in Ecology and Heritage.

They are currently being asked to do more and more planning related work, but generally turn it away as they don’t have the capacity to take it on.

Hence this newly created role, to capture this existing work and help deliver it for clients.

About The Team
 

• The Environmental Planning and Approvals team here run as Project Managers on all jobs in VIC
• Drawing in the expert team of Ecologist, Archaeologists and Bushfire experts (now at 80 in VIC)
• Consultancy Directors are both of environmental planning backgrounds.
   

The Role
 

• Run point on strategic projects as Project Director
• Deliver a range of environmentally complex projects than need planning permits, environmental management plans, approvals and post conditions, both local and EPBC referrals.
• Not competing in the major EIS space, rather strategically picking up the rest in the EES / EPBC Referrals realm
• Projects for likes of Dept of Transport, Development VIC, major consultancies & development companies ect.
• Work comes from a mix of internal and external referrers (circa 50/50 mix)
