We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Chemist to join their team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a critical role in technical project execution and operational excellence. This position involves a mix of laboratory work, product development, quality control, and technical collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

The Technical Chemist role involves overseeing quality control processes, and driving product research and development, including value engineering. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, offering customer and team technical advice, conducting site visits, and liaising with toll manufacturers and international teams. Other duties include preparing product samples, maintaining laboratory facilities, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and fostering toll manufacturing relationships.

Skills And Experience
 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of ISO manufacturing standards and compliance practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to value-engineer products.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software tools.
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a small, dynamic team.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues within the lab.
  • Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
