We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our growing team based in Melbourne on a 6-month contract.

About the role

Reporting into a highly experienced and supportive Manager you will work alongside exceptional Developers, Testers and Product Owners to contribute towards customer project initiatives. These include:

  • Inhouse CRM development
  • Web tool interfacing with inhouse CRM
  • API integration with couriers

The position plays a critical role by being the conduit between the business and the technology team. You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the implementation of technical business projects and solutions
  • Eliciting business requirements and translation into functional and technical specifications
  • Analyse, design and develop creative solutions for quality outcomes
  • Work closely with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure business needs are properly modelled, analysed and align to the business strategy
  • Work closely with stakeholders and organizational change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes
  • Develop use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Oversee the analysis, testing and deployment of the business requirements through the development lifecycle.

About You:

You have completed relevant Tertiary education and demonstrate sound understanding of business processes and commercial acumen. You are effective in managing project status in line with business priorities and supporting teams to deliver best fit solutions. In addition you possess:

  • Minimum 3 years business analysis
  • Financial Services / Payments exp highly regarded
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Software and solution delivery lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum development framework
  • End to end solutions design/technology enabled projects
  • Experience in workshop facilitation across multiple cross functional teams
  • Web, API, Integration experience
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly and an analytical mind
