Description:

Sitting within our Operations South team this position is responsible for undertaking manual labouring duties and the operation of plant equipment in road, bridge and drainage construction and maintenance as part of Council’s operations.

We are looking for candidates who display:

• A good cultural fit and work well as part of a team
• Interest in wanting to upskill
• A willingness to participate and contribute in team discussions
• Ability to take on multiple takes within the position
• Knowledge and experience in road, bridge and drainage construction and maintenance
• Experience and knowledge in the operation of plant equipment - specifically tractor or similar
• Completed WorkCover accredited course in WHS general induction for construction work in NSW, including a demonstrated sound knowledge of Work, Health and Safety procedures
• Current approved Traffic Controller’s Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans Card or willingness to undertake
