Description:

We are looking for a Team Manager (Credit Operations) support the team of credit assessors at RAMS by way of uplifting credit knowledge and capability within the business. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for workflow allocation, team management and ensuring the team are providing high quality credit decisions through timely delivery, and to support the organisation in achieving desired risk and reward balance of the secured portfolio as applicable.

Reporting to the National Manager, Credit, you are an integral member of the broader Credit team for RAMS and will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the team are delivering high quality credit decisions
  • Managing and monitoring performance
  • Contributing to maintaining team service level agreements
  • Providing an escalation point for decisions
  • Driving AOM methodology across the credit team
  • Promoting a focus on customer centricity by ensuring that credit decisions are communicated in a constructive manner with consideration of suggestions.
  • Advocates a one team culture and delivers credit coaching to embed process improvement and build credit skills capability for the RAMS Franchise Network.

What do I need?

  • 2-4 years’ experience in credit or a relevant business discipline
  • Managing a team of 12+ FTE
  • Currently hold or Held a Delegation to approve within last 2 years
  • Knowledge of AOM methodology and utilising RTM
  • Knowledge of industry issues, trends, practices such as
  • Experience in the Mortgage market with greater emphasis on Self-Employed structure or willing to learn complex structures
  • Ability to articulate well and willing to coach, guide and provide advice to stakeholders
  • Acts in accordance with regulatory / legislative guidelines
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced working environment.
