We do this through our national media service. Operating like a newsroom, we are content creators providing at the moment information through the media and social media channels. We are proactive storytellers sharing the human story behind the weather, seeking to tell the stories of our staff, customers and the community. We also respond to the story of the day, keeping the community informed when it matters most.

As the Team Leader, you will manage a small team that will work on a roster system with an alternative team. Your team will alternate between focusing on the reactive news of the day or the long-term proactive storytelling, ensuring each function gets dedicated attention. You will get to develop proactive, long-term media and social media projects and keep the adrenaline going with the day-to-day media enquiries. You will be a storyteller and a content creator, ensuring the Australian community is informed.

This team operates on a roster system to ensure we can provide more coverage in the 24/7 news cycle. You will be required to work outside of standard hours.
