Team Leader

Description:

Coordination of the operations and strategic development of two teams of multidisciplinary staff: one at the Broadmeadows Women's Community House and the other at Parentzone Northern, based in Lalor. Develop a range of group and community development opportunities for women and their families in Hume with a focus on culturally diverse communities attending the Women's house. Manage the day to day delivery of parenting services and professional training activities provided by Parentzone and identify service improvement initiatives and parenting activities throughout the Northern region.

The skills you will need day to day:
Demonstrated supervisory experience and leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and lead a staff team.

Excellent working knowledge of the statutory service system including risk assessment and child safety frameworks.

Well developed organisational skills

Program development and review/evaluation experience

Sound knowledge of group work practice and experience in delivering group work.
