Position Information

Larnook Public School is located 30 kilometres from Lismore in a rural setting. The school has 20 students in multi age classes K-6. Teachers are committed to quality curriculum implementation and improving outcomes for all learners. Student attendance, engagement and wellbeing are school priorities. The school is committed to building collaborative partnerships with parents and community to add value to school activities and to support learning in the classroom. Selection Criteria

In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary.

• Demonstrated high level ability to communicate and create effective and collaborative partnerships with the school community and external organisations to value add to school activities

• High level curriculum knowledge with an ability to implement the new syllabuses in English and mathematics whilst differentiating curriculum delivery to a broad range of student ages and abilities

• Proven ability to develop the leadership capacity of staff, embed collective efficacy, improve the pedagogical practice of teachers and the learning outcomes of students

• Demonstrated experience in building student wellbeing where every student is valued, engaged and supported.
