Belmore Boys' High School is a family of approximately 550 students and 70 teaching and non-teaching staff, located in Southwest Sydney. Our diverse student population represents 35 languages with 98% of students from language backgrounds other than English. Our FOI is 148 and ICSEA is 949, leading our school to being identified as a socio-economically disadvantaged setting.

Our school specialises on boys' education, focusing on the academic, social and emotional growth of our students. Our boys enjoy positive relationships with their teachers and peers, which allows them to be creative and confident learners who recognise the importance of learning and well-being. Our learning environment provides students with tailored learning experiences through planned, explicit and differentiated learning activities. Specific Selection Criteria


Approval to teach secondary library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education. High level technological skills with the capacity to develop and maintain a modern, innovative library that supports and inspires teaching and learning across the entire school. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills and capacity to collaborate with colleagues to create teaching and learning experiences that promote collaboration, critical and creative thinking and digital literacy. Capacity to establish effective programs in collaboration with school teams to support student wellbeing and achievement and which are aligned with the School Improvement Plan.
