Description:

Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking expressions of interest for an enthusiastic, committed, and motivated teacher to join our team. Our school is located in the remote Aboriginal Community of Beagle Bay on the beautiful Dampier Peninsula approximately 120km North of Broome. Presently our school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 10 with approximately 80 enrolments. We are a vibrant, happy, supportive staff who have the student’s best interests at heart. Every classroom has the support of an Aboriginal Teacher Assistant who works side by side with the classroom teacher for the benefit of every student.
 

The successful applicant will be well supported in EAL/D, PBL, and Trauma Informed teaching practices. Early career teachers are supported through the CEWA Early Career Teacher programme.

Staff housing and the CEWA Remote Area Package is applicable.

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum
