Our modern, purpose built Boarding House provides accommodation for 100 students from within Australia and overseas.

St Peter’s College is currently seeking applications to appoint a permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE) Teacher of Diverse Learning Needs to join our Junior School team beginning January 2024.

Teaching staff at St Peter’s College are a critical component in achieving the School’s Visions and Values and the Strategic Plan. A Teacher who creates a positive learning environment, that nurtures and fulfills the potential of all students, will enable all learners to strive to achieve their best. Our Teachers of Diverse Learning Needs are responsible for supporting students with diverse learning using a case management approach.

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • A willingness to support the School's values and Anglican ethos.
  • A readiness to work in a team and community, and a pssion for inspiring students to learn.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and initiative.
  • Demonstrated competency in teaching practice.
  • Completed a recognised tertiary teaching qualification (either undergraduate or postgraduate).
  • A South Australian Working with Children Check and Teachers Registration.
  • Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care (Fundamentals and Masterclass) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
