We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us in our Resourcing and Acquisition team in our Brisbane office on a 12 month max term contract.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a key role in end to end recruitment within the Operations and Maintenance division. You will proactively source exceptional candidates through channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, social media, personal networks and talent pools whilst managing the selection of suitable candidates across APA.
The location for this role is flexible and hybrid; we will consider locations all over Australia and/or home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage talent pools of passive and active candidates within the Infrastructure Development division by leveraging personal networks and social channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK etc.
- Provide trusted advice to hiring managers and the business around market conditions, remuneration, recruitment strategies, challenges and expected outcomes
- Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders to effectively plan, understand and execute APA hiring needs by coaching and supporting them with candidate selection, interviewing and decision making
- Partner with HR Business Partners to embed the Diversity & Inclusion strategy into all APA recruitment and educate leaders and hiring managers on the strategy and benefits it brings to the organisation
- Support the Talent Acquisition Lead to partner with the Talent & Performance and Organisational Design and Culture teams
Your background
- Degree in HRM, Organisational Development, Behavioural Sciences, Business Administration or a related field/experience
- Proven experience with the end-to-end recruitment life cycle of highly technical roles within a relevant industry, such as Project Managers, Engineers, Access and Approvals etc.
- Experience using sourcing methodologies, both traditional and non-traditional channels, to find new candidates including tools such as LinkedIn, Seek and our external careers page
- Advantageous - Psychometric and assessment tools activities, ideally including graduates and apprentices.
