Design, analyse, develop, test and demonstrate engineering solutions specific to Alstom's Computer Based Train Control subsystems, that derive and solve the requirements during the tender phase and through to execution. Provide cost and schedule estimates on engineering programs. Provide technical expertise in support of other departments.
- Manage the System Design Team in charge of producing and delivering the Design documentation (SAP, Circuit Design, Cable running…)
- Lead the System design strategy to deliver the solution as per project schedule and respecting the Quality and Cost commitments
- Supervise and help produce preliminary, detailed and final designs for Alstom subsystem for MAR
- Participate in signalling and train control workshops with customer and stakeholders.
- Reviews technical specifications, estimates costs and schedules, plans his/her own work and participates in engineering
- Deliver designs as per program based on MTMs’ design process
- Participate in project design and application engineering activities
- Provides technical expertise in support of Customer Service, Program Management , testing and commissioning, installation and systems assurance team.
- Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools on the project
- Manage and participate in the Design workshops
- Monitor RNA progress with functionality development specifically relevant to MAR
- Provide support to the Project Engineering Manager on execution of technical activities on-shore and off-shore
- Solve subsystem design technical issues detected by different core team members on MAR
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or scientific subjects
- Knowledge of CBTC
- Bid experience
- MTM design competency
- Cost and planning control experience in design scope
- Train Control Design Process knowledge
- Products and services knowledge on different market segments
