As a member of a very dynamic team, you will facilitate safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) with their families and significant others. In addition, you will engage with children and young people in providing a suite of services including youth work, mentoring and transportation

The provision of written updates and reports will also be required. You will have many opportunities for upskilling and professional development, as well as the guidance and

support from an inclusive, value driven team.

Essential Criteria

  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others.
  • Written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and complete formal documentation in relevant software programs.
  • Individual and team work. Ability to think quick on your feet and make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Availability to work flexible working hours including weekends
  • A current NSW Working with Children’s check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
  • Unencumbered Australian or NSW driver’s license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
  • Covid 19 Vaccination
