Superintendent Maintenance

Description:

With our new acquisition of Daunia Mine, We are seeking a Superintendent Maintenance who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities within the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) and Infrastructure. This will include ensuring the reliability and availability of plant equipment, developing maintenance strategies, leading the maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

What You’ll Do

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will;

• Provide technical expertise and support to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability
• Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, including scheduled shutdowns, emergency repairs, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements performance.

Profile description:

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in maintenance within the mining or heavy industrial sector, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated experience via relevant trade / engineering qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines is essential
• S1, S2, S3, G2 Certification
• Experience in CHPP or similar processing plants is essential
