Focus to Subdivision Project
Some of the key accountabilities will be:
- Managing all aspects of the development lifecycle, from the acquisition of land through to feasibility study, development applications, construction, and occupation
- Research and analyse development issues, planning controls and propose suitable solutions
- Appointing and effectively managing external architects, town planners, and other consultants.
- Ensure concept design/masterplan is developed as per director’s brief and organise to book pre-DA with council
- Consulting with authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner that is consistent with the acquisition strategy and feasibility.
- Preparation of development applications, ensure all reports required and checked
- Ensure the development applications are lodge to the council on time
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain and report on status of development applications to directors.
Our Wish List:
- Formal Architectural, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Property Development qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Development Manager
- Ideally you will have worked for a residential developer/builder
- Experience in all facets of land development from design to delivery through to sale and settlement.
- An all-rounder who possesses a can-do attitude.
- Exceptional relationship building skills, driven through outstanding communication – verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to priorities effectively and thrive in a busy environment.
