Student Placement Officer

Description:

Placement Officer (Vocational Education). In this role, you will be accountable for the provision of effective and efficient coordination of VE placement program administration services. You will facilitate compliance with University and regulatory-funding body processes and assist in the implementation and streamlining of all required processes to meet the operational, quality and compliance requirements of placements.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Student Placements, you will provide support and advice on the implementation of procedures and processes associated with the current legislative requirements and guidelines established for placements by the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) and Department of Health and Human Services Victoria, and ensure the day-to- day operational aspects of the team are undertaken in a timely and professional way.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• High-level verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively deal with clients in a highly confidential and professional manner.
• Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and workload.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of a positive and cooperative team environment, as well as the ability to operate independently.
• Proven expertise in administration support within a complex environment.
