About the role:
We have an exciting role to join the Strategy and Performance team on a permanent basis. Based in Leederville, you will be a part of a small team that works with senior management and the Executive.
Your responsibilities will include managing elements of the corporate strategic planning process, such as coordination of business planning and setting of corporate objectives.
This role will involve analysis and reporting of strategy and planning related information and data to monitor performance and support critical decision making for the business.
What the role will involve:
- Be central to the research, analysis and presentation of information to the Executive and Senior Management team, to develop a single view of the strategic options afforded to the Corporation.
- Coordinating elements of the corporate business planning process, including development and review of, and reporting on group and business unit plans.
- Providing essential coordination and analysis to set corporate objectives and KPIs, and cascade them through the business.
- Assisting the Unit to facilitate the strategy development process with the Board, Executive and Senior Management team.
- Stakeholder management and engagement to monitor and report on business performance.
- Leading specific strategic investigations, reviews and projects.
- Interacting with other processes to achieve integrated strategic planning outcomes.
- Cascading strategy to action, and monitoring and reviewing the results.
- Data management and analysis.
Key skills and experience:
- Degree level qualification in business, commerce or an analytical discipline.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience and in working with and advising a multidisciplinary workforce.
- Ability to analyse, interpret data and present meaningful information and recommendations to support strategies, plans, programs, systems and change initiatives.
- Considerable experience in the management of projects with experience influencing others to achieve a common goal.
- Relevant experience operating at the strategic level of an organisation, providing insightful analysis and thinking to the most senior level of debate / conversations within the Corporation.
- Broad communication, negotiation and facilitation skills will be important when undertaking this role.
- Demonstrated skills and sound knowledge of strategic research methods and data analysis principles and techniques, including the preparation of and understanding of statistics to inform business decisions.
