Description:
As a Solution Lead for the Live Better app team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to undertake all development activities required to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs. You will lead estimation activities and carry out system wide development work to time, budget and quality targets. You will be a hands on leader, actively contributing to code development while mentoring and guiding you team to deliver high quality results that meet both business and technical objectives.
The Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software with activities that include application, design, coding, testing, build and deployment scripting, and configuration in all relevant domains and related technologies.
- Design and develop components to support architectural test patterns using best practice and design patterns.
- Translate product management expectations into fully developed functionality that meets the customers requirements.
- Perform production support activities if needed depending on how the team has chosen to do Dev and Ops activities.
- Collaborate, experiment, and contribute to an agile software team.
- Contribute to system analysis, solution (functional & technical) design and feasibility activities.
- Champion and improve our way of working across the team.
- Create and be an active participant and thought leader within Community of Practices (COPs)
- Drives continuous improvement and constantly demonstrates a capability improvement mindset.
About You:
- Good documentation skills with the ability to produce client ready solution architecture, business understandable presentations and good communication skills to lead and run workshops
- On hands experience in AWS technologies and other Digital ecosystem technologies such as Microservices, Content Management Systems, Mobile apps ,etc
- Extensive experience as a Solution Lead on Enterprise integrations, design principles, architecture frameworks and processes
- Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership capabilities in a similar role.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable web based & Mobile applications
- Hands-on programming and debugging skills on either of these: AWS offerings, Java Springboot/Camel microservices, Mobile Apps or AEM Content management system.
- Service Integration Concepts (especially with RESTFUL services/ SOAP based web services)
- Experience in handling enterprise application deployment architectures, environments and providing solutions to problems in scalability, performance, availability, reliability, security etc.
