Description:

The PLF works with DFAT and DEWR to support the administration of the PALM scheme and facilitate opportunities for Australian employers to connect with workers from the Pacific and Timor-Leste. The PLF is managed by Palladium and has been established as a trusted intermediary in supporting Australia-Pacific circular labour mobility.

The Software Training & Communications Analyst will provide support to the Product Manager and Team in developing content and systems to improve the In-Country Recruitment Database (IRD) Communication to Users and Stakeholders. You will work closely with the IRD Implementation Advisor to identify key communication requirements including development of training materials, in-system action prompts, release communication and new feature documentation as well as a monthly stakeholder newsletter.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the IRD Implementation Advisor in developing assets to train and educate Users in the IRD software, as well as assisting with delivery of training to Users.
  • Oversee the implementation and content creation for an in-IRD self-service system
  • Develop content for communication of the IRD for distribution to wider stakeholders, such as (but not limited to) a Newsletter, system training documentation and Release Notes.
  • Assisting with some support requests from Users
  • Other tasks as reasonably requested by the IRD Product Manager
  • Travel locally and internationally, as required.
  • Representation of Palladium at labour mobility forums and/or events.


Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree/qualification;
  • Demonstrated work experience (Communications, Training or Marketing. Graphic Design experience a plus);
  • Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum based team a plus;
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills: ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and different activities at the same time, meet deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with diverse and non-technical stakeholders and write a variety of written work (tender documents, reports etc)
