The Crayon Software & Cloud Analytics (SCA) Team is made up of 300+ skilled specialists globally. The SCA Team is bridging our legacy licensing knowledge in all agreements across all software vendors to support our customers' digital transformation in their journey to the cloud. For Crayon, SCA is all about optimizing customers’ ROI across their IT assets, bringing them documented cost savings, and mitigating the risks in managing a larger software license estate and offerings. We now have an exciting opportunity for a consulting professional with experience from software licensing and cloud economics for our expanding operations. On offer is an integral role for a SAM Consultant to work in the interface between software licensing and cloud economics with strategic sales. You will collaborate with the Australian sales team, focused on pre-sales and service delivery, end-to-end, understanding of the requirements of the customer and provide a technical SCA solution. Other responsibilities include assistance with SCA professional services as needed. 

 

As an SCA Consultant, your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Driving the SCA business process in Australia, and providing information to customers on Software & Cloud Analytics 
  • Pre-sales support on SCA services towards existing and net new customers through our Sales team 
  • Coordinating with KAMs in positioning SCA, cloud economics, licensing assessments, and other similar assessment activities 
  • Creating roadmaps and business plans on a strategic level and with the customers 
  • Supporting on audits, true-ups, contract renewals, customer training, and other ad hoc services 
  • Attending customer meetings

As you will be communicating with all levels of stakeholders, and assuming accountability for net new and existing customers, efficient presentation and communication skills are needed. Furthermore, we appreciate it if you are a problem solver with the ability to work independently as well as with others. 

 

Wanted competency & experience: 

  • Demonstrated experience with management consulting, IT operations, procurement, and/or governance 
  • Good understanding of software licensing, Software Asset Management and cloud knowledge 
  • Experience with SNOW, Flexera, and/or ServiceNow is required 
  • Any of the following certifications are highly regarded: Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), would be advantageous

  • Location for this role: Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane 
  • Languages required: Professional level English, written & spoken
