Software Engineer

Cure Recruitment has partnered with a small, but mighty product company who are on the hunt for a software engineer. This place is reinventing things in their own industry and have a product that it utilised by an enormous number of customers throughout Australia. They were founded right here in AU, and now have team members both here and overseas.

From a technical standpoint a strong understanding of C# and .NET technologies, as well as experience working with Angular on the front-end side of things, will be key to this role. You’ll need a passion for learning, and ideally will be inquisitive by nature.

You’ll be working closely with the CTO, other software engineers, and key business stakeholders, and will play a key role in the future of the product. This is a great time to be joining them prior to further expected growth in 2022.

Finally, this role will be 100% remote working. You will be able to work from your home anywhere in Australia, so long as you have a solid internet connection. The team stay connected by way of video calls, and the opportunity to meet up face to face will present itself when travel restrictions pass.

What you will be doing

• Being an active member of the team, contributing ideas and focusing on continual improvement.
• Participating daily in the design and development of the product and new features.
• Design, code and test components and features.
• Taking ownership of your work.
• Working to improve the quality of existing codebases.
• Contributing to the support and maintenance of the product, including liaising with other teams where appropriate.
• Having fun!

About you

• You are passionate about coding and building awesome features.
• You have experience of working with the .net core framework in C# as well as JavaScript (Angular / TypeScript would be ideal!).
• Strong experience with designing and building APIs from scratch.
• Any experience of working on AWS would be a plus (if not, they'll teach you!).
• You are thinking about CI/CD as part of agile development practices.
• You are a team player and hopefully have a great sense of humor!
