Senior Software Engineer - Host Networking

We are looking for a senior software engineer with experience in developing testing and telemetry tools to analyze performance of complex software systems.

You will work closely with a group of systems architects across various engineering disciplines to devise performance testing experiments, codify those experiments and ensure test data is reliable and reproducible.At the end of each testing iteration, you will analyze the data and validate (or reject) performance optimization ideas based on observations.

The role is in our HostNet group. This team is responsible for Kernel, data path innovations and network optimization of our servers.

This role is limited to non-US only.

What You'll Do

• Work with cross-functional SMEs to collect performance optimization ideas and build a cohesive testing strategy for them
• Develop a testing framework that can autonomously and reliably validate optimization ideas
• Frequently present your findings in various cross-functional forums
• Guide application developers to make the best use of proven optimization ideas
• Drive innovation in performance tuning space and suggest your own optimization ideas
